EHS Lead – Finland (x1)

Package: €130,000 – €140,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,200 Living Cost p/m

We are a dedicated turnkey data-centre delivery organisation headquartered in Dublin with operations across multiple European countries.

The EHS Lead will oversee the Health, Safety & Environmental function across one or more major data centre construction projects in Finland. This role involves establishing, driving and embedding safety culture and environmental compliance from mobilisation through to hand-over.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS programmes and policies aligned with corporate and project standards.
• Lead site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor EHS performance, review method statements, safe systems of work and ensure regulatory compliance (Finnish/EU).
• Drive behavioural safety, toolbox talks, training, induction and safety campaigns.
• Prepare EHS reporting, KPIs and communicate risk across programmes.
• Promote environmental management including waste, water use, emissions and sustainability targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in EHS roles with large-scale construction, preferably in data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of Finnish and European HSE legislation and environmental regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; Finnish language skills advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate or travel frequently across Finland; rotation model with accommodation and travel covered.
